A number of our clients have realised that by expanding their existing management systems to incorporate controls for a safe and healthy workplace they are showing their workers it's a priority of the business to keep them safe and healthy.

To demonstrate this publicly they are undergoing certification audits to achieve ISO 45001:2018, Occupational Health & Safety Management System Standard which complements their existing ISO certifications.

Keeping workers safe and preventing work-related injury and ill health can now be demonstrated through achieving this internationally recognised standard and we are delighted to be working with a number of existing clients to support their ISO 45001 projects in 2019.

By integrating the requirements into existing management systems, paperwork is minimised, there are no contradictions and safety really does become central to the daily activities of the business. Importantly, it's essential that for SME's safety is Director led and workers participate in this process by discussing concerns and suggesting improvements.
